Terms

Engaging in my services involves practices designed to support your well-being on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. By participating in these sessions, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for your own experience and the care required afterwards. Curious Breath (Liv Taylor) will not be held liable for any health-related issues (emotional, physical, mental, or spiritual) that may arise in connection with these services.

I am not a licensed medical professional and do not provide medical advice or treatment. You are encouraged to consult with a qualified healthcare provider for any medical concerns. If you are taking medication, experiencing mental health challenges, or have any health conditions, it is your responsibility to inform me before beginning any session. Please notify me if you start or stop any relevant medications during the course of our work. In some cases, I may request the name and contact details of a next of kin.

Confidentiality

I value your trust and privacy. Any information shared during sessions or in correspondence will remain strictly confidential unless required by law. If you have opted to receive updates, promotions, or other communications from me, you may unsubscribe at any time. All personal data will be handled in line with current privacy and data protection regulations.

Ethical Standards & Professional Commitment

I am committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in my practice. I have completed comprehensive ethics training and adhere to the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance (GPBA) Code of Ethics, which emphasises professionalism, integrity, and respect in all client interactions. My role is to provide a safe and supportive space for exploration and self-awareness, always within ethical and professional boundaries.

If you have any concerns regarding ethical considerations, I encourage open communication. You can also review the GPBA Code of Ethics for further understanding of my professional commitments.

Personal Information

To ensure clear communication and appropriate care, you are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date contact details.

Payment

By booking a session or programme, you agree to pay the full amount as outlined at the time of booking. Payments are non-refundable once a programme has commenced. If you choose to discontinue a programme before completing all scheduled sessions, any unused sessions will be forfeited. If payment issues arise, please get in touch to discuss possible solutions.

Cancellation Policy & Refunds

Due to the limited availability of appointments, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This allows me to offer the appointment to another client.

  • Cancellations made before the 48 hours’ will be refunded in full or rescheduled at no charge.

  • Cancellations made with less notice, or no-shows, will result in a loss of payment.

Contraindications

My practices, including Introspective Breathwork® Therapy and Reiki sessions, may involve physical and emotional processes that could impact individuals with certain health conditions. When booking your first session, please complete the Client Intake Form to disclose any relevant conditions.

These sessions aim to help manage stress and facilitate deeper emotional and physical awareness. However, they may not be suitable if you have any of the following:

  • Pregnancy

  • Detached retina or glaucoma

  • High blood pressure (if unmanaged)

  • Cardiovascular issues (including angina, heart attack, or stroke history)

  • Aneurysms (brain or abdominal)

  • Any other medical or physical conditions that could limit participation in emotionally or physically intense practices

  • Psychedelic substances

Sessions cannot be undertaken while under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or psychedelic substances. In addition, my services are not suitable for those who are currently engaged in ongoing ceremonial practices where psychedelic use is a consistent element. This is to ensure your safety and the integrity of the work we do together. My approach is gentle and trauma-informed, but you are responsible for listening to your body and knowing your limits. By choosing to engage in these sessions, you accept full responsibility for your health and well-being throughout the process.
